Chapter 10

They Finally got to Gary Indiana. When they got to Mark's place. Beth was waiting for them. She gave Kerri a hug and said "You finally left Ned. What he did to you was so wrong." Kerri said "I know and I should have seen it coming   I don't know why I didn't see it coming. So where is Lily today?" Beth said "She's  not home at the moment, she and my boys have gone out for the day they'll be back soon.  Lily will be happy to see you, at least I hope so." Kerri said "I hope so too. I want her to understand what happened. Telling a young child what happen isn't easy." Beth said "I'm sure she will. Depending on her reaction to the news. "


Michael said "As long as she get's to see Kerri that's all it matters right?" Kerri said "That's all it matters yes, as long as she doesn't hate me."Michael said I'm sure she'll be right, but it might be sometime before she'll get use to you."Just as they were talking Lily, Luke and Ken came in. Lily  saw someone there. She said "Who is that woman?" Michael said "That lady is your mum?" Lily looked at her. She then ran to her room. Kerri was about to go after her, Michael  stepped in and said "I'll talk to her." Kerri said "But she needs her mum?"Sandy said "Yes  we know Kerri but let Michael talk to her."Kerri  said ok then." Michael went and found Lily in her room. Lily said "Mike, I don't want to talk to her or see her right now." Michael said "I know you don't  but she wants to see you."Lily said "Does she really? But I don't want to leave here."Michael said "I am sure you can visit here." Lily said "But I'll never get to see you again? If I am with Kerri."Michael said "Kerri won't be going no where and neither will I." Lily said "Well I guess I can talk to her and find out why?" Michael and Lily went back down stairs.


Lily went up and gave Kerri a hug. Lily wasn't ready to call  Kerri mum, she said "Kerri, why did you leave me at the age of 3? What happen? couldn't you have put me up for adoption?" Kerri said "Your dad wasn't a nice man, he wouldn't let me  do those  things, I know it was wrong."Lily said "So why do something like that if you knew it was wrong?"Kerri said Ï don't have the answer to that, I do understand if you are angry at me or you want nothing from me." Lily said "I guess you can say I was angry, but since you are here I think I don't  need to know anymore.  But is it alright with you if I stay with Beth and Mark just until I get use to having a mum around."Kerri agreed with the idea. For days Lily got  to know her mum Kerri a bit better they bonded like  a Mother and daughter should.

Chapter 9

They walked into the house, They started looking for her, Eliza said "What was that?" Michael said "I think it's Kerri"Soon they found Kerri. She saw them and said "You guys came but Hurry Ned will be back in 5 hours, you got to get me out of here. " Michael said "Don't  worry we will" They got Kerri out of the house and  all left the house long before Ned got back.  As they got to the train Ned was there  and said "Where you think you're going?" Kerri said "To get away from you."  Ned said " But You can't do that. "  Kerri said "Why so you can  hurt me every night."Ned said "Babe, you remember we wanted to be commited . We left our child to be together." Kerri said "No you wanted to do that not me. I only agreed to it because you were going to hurt me if I said no." Ned said " Ah but I said to you that  I never wanted kids. Sorry but  I just should have left you the day you became Pregnant." Kerri said" HOW Can you just say that?" Mark said "Kerri he's evil that's why?" Ned was about to hit Mark when Michael stopped him and said "Hit Mark and you'll be in trouble." 


Ned said "Oh stay out of it W***O J***O why don't you just  go away."Michael could feel anger building up. Michael said "WHAT Did you just call me?" Ned said "Listen J***O I am not going to repeat myself just so you know that we aren't friends" Michael was about to hit Ned when Eliza and Sandy  pulled him back. Kerri said "You have no right to call Michael that  and just so you  know  I am leaving you. I never loved you. You nothing but EVIL and nasty! I should have left you long time ago!. "Ned said "Oh why don't you go and be with J***O Then maybe he can be  with you and your child. I want nothing to do with you.* Ned grabbed Kerri in a tight hug.  Kerri screamed "LET ME GO!!!!" Mark called the cops.  They came and arrested Ned. 


Kerri stood there shaking. Michael walk up to her and put his arm around her. They walked to the train. Kerri said "Thank you for saving me from Ned. I should have given up on him. I don't understand  what made him change?" Michael said "Doesn't seem like a very nice man. Well he is not nice at all after what he just called me.  But I'm just glad you  are ok."  Kerri said "Look I am sorry about what I said awhile ago. I just freaked out that day when you were talking about Lily. I  wasn't with Ned that day but still I didn't mean to be that way. Anyway I want to talk about Lily, how is she?" Mark said "She has grown in to a  lovely girl, Lily just a smart kid. My sons are great with her."They kept talking about Lily. 

Chapter 8

Michael Said "There are people life at risk, I'm not going to sit back and let Kerrie get hurt, she needs our help." Sandy said "Mike we know you mean well but Ned is far too dangerous." They heard "Who is dangerous?" Sandy said "Mark, we saying Ned is dangerous." Mark said "He is dangerous. I already knew that." Eliza said "Would have been nice to have warned us." Mark said "Well I didn't want you guys changing your mind and I didn't know you were going to talk to them." Michael said "What was he like before Jerri and him dumped Lily at the age of 3?" Mark said "Well Beth and I tried to warn Kerrie that Ned didn't seem like an all round nice guy. We both knew he was bad for her but Kerrie being Kerrie she ignore our warnings and look what happen." Michael said "What was he like when you first met him.?" Mark said "When we first met him we thought he was nice at first until Kerrie became Pregnant he was moody. But he never really showed it as much, til Lily turned 3, he threaten to hurt Kerrie if she didn't didn't dump Lily, we knew Kerrie didn't want to but she had no choice. That's all we know." Michael said "So you already knew why?" Mark said "What I just told you yes" Eliza said "Right ok. That's all the info we need for now." The Phone rang. Elza answered it. Her face changed to scared expression. Sandy said "Whats wrong?" Eliza said "It's Kerrie she's been held Hostage."



Michael said "Kerrie is held what?" Eliza said "Kerrie is held hostage." Sandy said "What is she saying?" Eliza was listening to what she was saying. Soon she hang up. Eliza said "We need to stay here." Michael said "and leave her Hostage? No I am gonna bring her back here and she can reunite with her daughter. The girl needs to be with her mum." Eliza said "What about the promise?" Michael said "What aboyut the promise? This is a life we talking about that is in danger right now. No mater how bad it is risk or no risk we have to help her." Mark said "Girls, Mike is right we can't just let this go. I do want Lily to be with her mum. I want Kerrie away from that evil man!."


Eliza said "Well like I said if one of us get hurt, don't say I warned you." Michael said "Hunnie it's called risking our lives. If one of get's hurt then we get hurt no matter what. I know I don't want to but Kerrie's life is more important right now." Sandy said "Mike is right I know it's dangerous but we have to do it. If it's worse then we can get cops invovled." Eliza said "Ok then if we must do so." They all got back on the train and head to LA. Then when they got to LA, they went on a search. They soon saw a house that was closed up. Sandy said "Has Ned gone mad?" Michael said "Yep he has. I just hope he don't see us. Guys hide someone is coming out. They stayed behind the fence, they notice Ned was coming out. He got in the Car and went out. He left. Mark said "Ok guys let just go in before he comes back." They went up to the house. It was unlocked. Mark said "Jeez Ned you are not so smart after all" Michael opened the door and they went in. 

Chapter 7

Kerri looked at Eliza and Michael. Kerri said "That is Lily." Michael said "Yes and she's your child you and Ned dumped when she was 3." Ned said "We just had to." Eliza said "Had too? What kind of excuse is that? No parent should even do that to their child." Kerri said "Look you don't understand what we had to go through." Michael said "What do you mean?" Kerri said "Look aren't you both wasting time?" Eliza said "No we have to do this." Ned was about to do something. Eliza stop Ned and said "Don't you dare hit Michael! It's not our fault you both dumped Lily. No one knows why." Ned said "Well it's best that you didn't!" Michael said "Why not?" Kerri said "Just leave us alone!" Kerri and Ned left. Michael was about to go after them. Eliza stopped him. Eliza said "Mike No! Just leave them, they just not helping us." Michael said "Then what? We can't let it go. We have to do something." Eliza said "Mike, Ned almost hit you!, this is what I am talking about it's going to get Dangerous, Lily told us to becareful. I don't want you getting hurt. I don't want us hurt." Michael said "I know what you are saying but we need answers. I am not reasting til we get it." Michael and Eliza were about to leave til Kerri came back. Eliza said "Kerri where's Ned?" Kerri said "Ned should not have had ago at you Mike. But I am warning you please becareful. Ned is dangerous!." Michael said "Then why you still with him?" Kerri said "I rather not talk about it, if he finds out that I told anyone he'll hurt me. I am scared!" Eliza and Michael looked at one another. Kerri said "Look I have to go. But just please promise me to be careful ok." Kerri left. Eliza said "I don't know if we should even do this Mike." Michaell said said "Maybe we should just get Kerri on her own." Eliza said "How!, she has to becareful too " Michael said "Dangerous or not, we must help Kerri and find answers!" Eliza said "Mike!!! no! I am not going to let us risk our lives, we have to think about it!, What if one of us get killed. PLEASE, For Lily's sake for our sake let's not take the risk!"


Michael wasn't going to take no for an answer. Eliza said "Mike if one of us get killed It will be your fault! I am sorry but I am not risking my life over a dangerous person. You are on your own buddy." Michael sighed and said "Well maybe you are right, We can always wait til Kerri comes to us." Eliza said "and have Ned after us and Kerri? No." Michael said "Then what?" Eliza said "Let's go back home and talk it over with Beth and Mark, they'll have answers." Michael said "Your right we can do that. Let's go then." As they were walking towards the train. Ned was standing there. Both though This can't be good. Ned said "If you either of you come near me or Kerri again you will be sorry!" Ned left. Michael said "I don't like the guy at all." Eliza said "Now there you go, He's far too dangerous and he's just threaten us." Michael said "What to do then." Eliza said "Get out of here is the answer." Eliza and Michael went back to Gary Indiana.


Sandy was waiting for them. Sandy saw them, she said "So how did you go?" Michael said "Dangerous" Sandy gave Michael a look and said "What?" Eliza said "We met up with Kerri and Ned." Sandy said "and?" Michael said "We got as far as telling them and asking why. Ned and Kerri walked off then Kerri came back saying Ned is dangerous and that she is scared of him. As we got to the train Ned was there and he threaten us." Sandy said "No I am not letting you do this anymore Mike." Eliza said "EXACTLY what I said Sandy." Sandy said "Mike NO WAY Am I letting you or Eliza risk your lives. I am sorry, I know you want to help Lily. But I am not going to lose a friend!." Michael said "But Kerri's live is in Danger too." Sandy said "Mike please!."

Chapter 6

Michael said "Lily sweetie I understand what you are saying, you just let us know if you are ready won't you?" Lily said "Yes I will Mike. I know you are doing everything to help us. Just promise me one thing?" Michael said "Whats that?" Lily said "To becareful for we don't know if they're dangerous." Michael said "I promise I will be."

Michael and Eliza went back to LA. When they got there they went down town for a walk. They spotted 2 people. Michael said "Isn't that Kerrie and Ned?" Eliza said "It is them." Michael was about to go up to them but Eliza stop him and said "Michael not yet, They don't know we know. Just wait" Michael said "But We found them we need to talk to them." Eliza said "What about Lily's promise to be careful? Remeber she said we don't know if they are dangerous." Michael said "and I did promise." Eliza said "Then don't break it!" Michael said "Ok mother." Eliza said "Excuse me what was that." Michael laughed and said "ok Mother or well Boss!" Eliza said "First I am too young to be your mum and second I am your boss so be good!" They both went quiet while they were watching Kerrie and Ned.

Kerrie spotted Michael and Eliza. She walked over to them and said "Spying are we?" Michael said "Um no we're not spying are we Eliza?" Eliza said "Oh no of course we're not we just ah stopping to get some food Because Michael is staying at my place tonight." Kerrie said "I see. Since when does Michael stay at your place?" Eliza said "Since last night." Kerrie said "Right, I guess I better leave you to it then. Bye." Kerrie left. Michael said "What was that all about?" Eliza said "Well I had to lie didn't I?" Michael said "Getting some food? Come on we have to talk to Kerrie about it soon. We can't keep covering our butts" Eliza said "I'm just not sure if I want to ask her yet." Michael said "We gotta do it before too late." Eliza said "Why are you always right?" Michael said "Because I just am not let's stop wasting time. What we do is, we go and talk like we always do." Eliza said "sounds good to me."

Michael and Eliza walked over to Ned and Kerri. They sat down and started talking to them. Kerri said "Ok you too whats up?" Eliza said "Nothing we just wanting to chat with you?" Ned said "Sure there is more isn't there?" Eliza said "Um well...." Kerri said "Well whats?" Michael said "We know who Lily's parents are?" Kerri said "Well that's good. Who are they?" Eliza said Oh you interested all of a sudden?" Kerri said "Why shouldn't I be? So who are they?" Michael said "Let's just say that we've known them all along. It's you and Ned." Kerri said "Now Come on! why would Ned and I be Lily's parents!" Eliza said "I have Proof" Eliza showed Kerri pictures. Kerri didn't know what to say.  

Chapter 5

Sandy said "Eliza? Who is Lily's parents?" Eliza said "Think about it. Did you say he was hearless toward you?" Michael said "Huh? What? Yeah Kerrie was heartless towards us but that doesn't mean anything." Eliza said "Mike it does, soon as you menton Lily's parents she freaked out right?" Michael said "Anyone could freak out?" Eliza said "No Mike not everyone does, You did say Kerrie wasn't going to help? What does that say?" Sandy said "That could mean anything?" Eliza said "Could it? Then why would anyone freak out at the menton of Lily? Tammy hasn't has she?" Sandy said "No she hasn't." Eliza said "So it's Kerrie, her husbane's name is Ned. They Lived here or years now. They moved from Gary Indiana leaving a 3 year old behind. People know about it but they don't have a clue who the parents are and this whole time we been talking to Lily's mum without even knowing it. The only way to prove it if we talk to Beth." Sandy said "and what would Beth know. Talking to her is like talking to brick wall she won't even talk about it." Michael said "We can only try." Sandy said "Fine."

Later on that day Tammy, Eliza, Sandy and Michael headed back to Gary, Indiana. When they got back, they went straight to Beth's house. Mark was home the kids were out. Michael said "We need to talk." Beth said "What's wrong did you guys find something." Eliza said "Well I did, Lily's parents have been living in LA the whole time. " Mark said "and?" Eliza said "I found out who they are. Just wondering if you know a Kerrie and Ned by any chance?" Beth said "That's them! have you spoken to either of them?" Michael said "Well we had a run in with Kerrie we menton Lily and she became heartless and cold." Beth said "That would be right. Kerrie was never like that before she abounded Lily." Michael said "You think there is a reason why she is now?"

Mark said "Have no idea" Sandy said "We need to speak to Lily..." Eliza said "Come on the kid is 10 years old and you want to speak to her about it." Michael said "I am not sure if I want to put her through this, if she wants to then she can come to us." They heard who will come to you? Ken said "No one is going to put Lily through this." Lily said "No it's ok if Michael wants to help me then I am fine with it." Beth said "Are you sure you want Mike to talk to your parents?" Lily said "I an sure but I'm also not sure if I want to face them yet." 

Chapter 4

When they got to LA, some of Michael's friends were there to greet him. Michael introduce them to Sandy. Kerrie said "Mike when were you going to tell us you were meeting up with a girl?" Michael said "Oh no Sandy and I been friends for ages." Sandy said "Nothing major going on it's ok" Kerri said "Aww it's ok guys just that it's nice that Mike has a long time friend. So anyway tell us about how are things in your home town.?" Sandy and Michael looked at each other. Tammy said "We know that look whats going on?" Michael said "The Visit to my hometown was good it was nice to see everyone." Tammy said "Is that all?" Sandy said "Should we tell them?" Kerrie said "Telll us what?" Michael said "Well even though it was nice to see everyone, something happen. Lily's parents abounded her when she was 3." Tammy said "Isn't that Lily the one that's always on the Train all the time? I've seen her." Michael said "Yes that's her." Tammy said "What her parents done is awful why would anyone do such a thing." Michael said "We are on a search for Lily's parents to find out answers." Kerrie said "How about we not worry about and let them deal with it."

Tammy said "Kerrie!!!!" Michael said "What So just ignore it and let a 10 year girl not know where her parents are?" Kerrie said "You shouldn't have to deal with this let them work it out, Lily might want to search for them herself?" Michael said and so you think it will just blow over? Just imagine being in her shoes? How would you have felt if your parents left you that young?" Kerrie said "Maybe I'll just not worry about it." Sandy stepped in and said "Ok that's enough. Kerrie if you not going to be nice I suggest you just keep your comments to yourself. Our community are not going to rest til we get answers. No child should be abounded at the age of 3. Yes Michael has every right to feel the need to search for Lily's parents." Kerrie said "Why didn't you do it yourself instead of dragging Michael into it." Michael said "Excuse me! No one dragged me into anything, Like Sandy said I have every right to search for the parents."

Kerrie said "Fine good luck because I won't be helping." Sandy said "We don't need your help!" Kerrie said "I'm going. You coming Tammy?" Tammy said "No I am not coming, I am going to help. You are on your own Kerrie" Kerrie said "But Tammy..." Tammy said "I don't hang out with people that are heartless like you." Kerrie said "Since when am I heartless?" Michael said "Work that out for yourself." With that Tammy, Michael and Sandy left Kerrie standing there.

When the 3 were walking over to Tammy's house they ran into another friend Eliza. Eliza already knew Sandy, was also Tammy's and Michael's best friend. Eliza said "Hey guys how are ya doing?" Michael said "Had a run in with Kerrie." Eliza said "Over what?" Michael said "About how Snady dragged me into finding Lily's parents and what not." Eliza said "No that is just wrong. She should never had said that. Anyway, Sandy had already told me what's been happening while you were over there. I've been doing my own research. I looked into the where about the parent's would have gone to. " Michael said "You sure have been busy. Any idea where to start." Eliza said "Well LA is a big place, so they could still be in this state. I also found out who they are?" Sandy said "You did? who are they?"
